Why We Do This

About Our Founder

Owner operator Philip Carr has been in the real estate and recovery industry since 2020, Licensed in both GA and TX, he began his career in property management of *multifamily* RE assets then pivoted to investment sales and the creation of PMM properties, a personal collection of investment properties in Statesboro, Ga.

These early successes have opened the door for Philip to embark on this journey into the social entrepreneurial space, answering a calling he feels to help other and take a genuine interest in his fellows.

Philip has pivoted from investment sales and personal RE portfolio management in order to pursue what he feels to be his true calling, which is to help others in recovery by way of social entrepreneurship. We at Stream of Life, believe our sober living model will help many of those struggling to make the transition into long term sobriety more achievable by providing the optimal setting.

The main principle of the recovery home is in the name… “Stream of Life”, he believes we must all ask ourselves on a daily basis what are we doing to add back into this stream of life we all live? No matter how big or small.

The Stream of Life house encourage residents to put an emphasis on asking themselves these key question everyday. What are we really doing to grow spiritually? What are we really doing to help our fellows in recovery? Is what we are doing fruitful, not only for ourselves but those around us?

“I am still a student of these principles myself and I am still learning to practice humility on a daily basis. my hope is those who participate in the “Stream of Life” sober living community can all embark on this life long journey together. I look forward to being involved with those who are led to live at Stream of Life, and I'm sure in many cases I will learn more from the future residents then I will impart, my hope is we can all work to become our more authentic selves. I want to see everyone win, that is where I seek gratitude today.”
